Script Synopsis:In this romantic drama, beautiful Red Cross volunteer Lee Ashley (Deborah Kerr) arrives on the South Pacific island of New Caledonia to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the death of her husband, Howard, in the Battle of Guadalcanal.
